Useful thoughts show up while walking, between meetings, or with a wrist raise — not only at a desk. Phone Notes and voice memos work, but they often become untitled recordings you never reopen. A shared Talkie library keeps the capture searchable next to Mac dictations.
What can you do with a mobile capture?
- Continue on Mac — open the memo, edit, or paste into an app
- File as Markdown — e.g. voice memo → Obsidian
- Hand to an agent — pull via CLI or paste into Cursor / Claude (voice remote for agents)
- Keep recognition local where the mobile path allows Apple Speech or Parakeet options described on product pages
How does sync work?

How do I get started?
- Install Talkie Phone from the App Store link on Downloads (Watch comes with the iPhone app where applicable).
- Sign into the same iCloud account you use on the Mac if you want sync.
- Record a short memo on iPhone or Watch.
- Confirm it appears in the Mac library after sync.
- Optionally run a workflow or dictate a follow-up on Mac (Talkie for Mac, Talkie mobile).
